dead cushions

I finished the slate today on my Olhausen. Put the cloth on, installed the rails, and played a few games. 5 of 6 rail cushions are dead or mostly dead. Mostly the middle area of the cushion is dead. the outside ends seem more lively on most of them.

Any suggestions? Do I need new cushions? I think that these have never been replaced, but I just bought it last week, so I'm not sure. The table is 23 years old.

Gary,
Sorry to hear about your problem. Sounds like you are in need of some new accufast cushions. It isn't much fun playing on a table with dead rails. Best of luck.

Pat,

Any suggestions where I can buy new cushions and cloth for my Olhausen Americana? I might as well replace the felt at the same time. BTW....would they be K66 cushions?

Thanks,
Gary

I responded to you 1-21 PM this morning. Sorry I had no idea what a PM was until I clicked on my own name. That said yes I am from Syracuse and Pat from Pool 911 responded to me also. We both need cushions.

I guess we both learned a lesson. Play the table before making a final offer on the price.

John

Pat you have been great with professional information. If I removed my rails and shipped them to you would you replace the cushions with accufast for me.? Ballpark price for 6 rails ? And do you sell simonis 860 ?

Thanks

John

Gary,
Technically, yes they are k66. But they are made for the 1 1/2" rail that olhausen uses. You can contact Tableman who post on our forum. He is an Olhausen dealer.

Hi John,
I could take care of your rails for you. The labor is $175 plus the cost of the cushions. I will find out what the cost is on the accufast tomorrow. I do carry all colors of Simonis.
