Hi. I'm looking for a new cue that I can start out with and grow as my mechanics, and game improve as I practiced. I wanted some recommendations on where I can start. I'm looking to spend about $300.
I was looking at the Joss series before and their custom z sneaky pete. I'm somewhat leaning towards sneaky petes only because in the past, 'designs' have always aaffected on what I would buy and not performance wise. anyways, what do you guys think of the Joss Custom z Sneaky Pete and have any recommendations?
Thanks a lot!

If you live by a pro shop you should try out as many differn't cues as you can to find out which one feels the best to you. Many custom cue makers have sneaky petes in that price range. It all comes down to what feels best to you.

Fearless, don't "snatch up" anything. Get your ass out there and hit with some cues. I would "snatch it up" if I could return it only.

Hi Albert, You might want to try one of my cues. My pete's sell for $375.00, all I build are cocobola points with maple fronts and a maple ring just above the butt cap. Don Purdy is correct, try if possible. If you would like to try one of mine, pay for it and if you don't like it I will refund your cash, including shipping.
Some of the AZ members might tell you about my cues.......
