Deep Draw: Open vs. Closed Bridge

I'm wondering if you know if it 'should' make any different which bridge is used for a deep draw shot. I play most of my shots with an open bridge, including my draw shots. Does it make any difference for one's ability to draw the cb which bridge is used, or is it all in the stroke?

(I have no trouble drawing a large distance, so I'm just curious)

Any instructor I have talked to has said closed bridge for draw(unless it is over a ball), open for top. But then i think it might depend on which type of draw method you use, ie low and level vs chop down.
