Burton Spain and Paul Heubler. The delrin usually doesn't get finish but Tad Cues finishes over his delrin butt caps.

I know I saw a thread recently where the cue had Delrin rings and the finish was coming off only at the rings.

I have seen other cue maker's (Schuler in particular) that use Delrin for butt plates and they have been at least satiny. What is the best way to get this? Sanding just seems to make it gray. Do I need to move up to micromesh? Alternatively, is...

There are SOOOOOO many other, much better suited materials to choose from, why use something that will give you headaches?
