Here is a cue I recently finished for a Los Angles County Deputy Sheriff out
of a single piece of purple heart. The butt sleeve is ebony and the trim rings and butt cap are water buffalo. The handle is made from silver and copper gilding applied on a black/red background of Japan paints in a fish scale pattern.
This style of handle gives the appearance of a snake skin while maintaining all the technical attributes of a wrapless handle. Thanks for looking.
