Just finished for the man from Texas. This cue has a swirly Brazilian Rosewood (almost a burl) forearm and butt sleeve.
The handle is spalted Sycamore and the trim rings are Herringbone set into Ebony.
The butt cap and joint sleeve are black water buffalo horn. The core is full length Purple Heart.
The maple shaft has an Ivorine ferrule and Triangle tip w/a Katalox thread insert.
I really enjoy making this style of cue and hope the owner enjoys it also.
