I have been to many events in my life and I sincerely think that the Derby City Classic is an awesome event. It's Fun! I was lucky enough to work with Greg, Chad and the whole Diamond Crew on their new website, www.derbycityclassic.com . These people truly are looking to help OUR Game!
DerbyCityClassicSTOCK 05' : What IF!
What if the ENTIRE Pool Community (Players, Fans, Distributors, etc.) came to one event, whether the Derby, the open, whatever..? Could you imagine. CNN, ESPN would be sending their crews down..The Press would eat it up...What's it take to get 10,000+ to an event? When people support the sport no matter what it is, Corporate America starts peeking. That's what it will take to get Coke, Bud, etc. involved. Support, Viewership, etc.
Greg has done wonders with the DCC. They keep it exciting! You don't have to wait until the end to for excitement, you have it all around you!

I have read in other posts about gambling going on and the "Image" it may show. You have gambling on every major sport; Golf, Bowling, Football, Baseball, even the Spelling Bee (Its on ESPN) i am sure..Some may hide it better then others but it's there. YOUR LOCAL Newspaper tells you the lines of many sporting events.
I think many of you may bring this up as a possible excuse as to why Corporate America is not involved..They aren't involved because the lack of support. You want to do something about it? Go to an event, Spend Your Money, Pay for it on PPV, buy it from Accu-Stats, buy an autograph, Get a t-shirt, Stay at the Host-Hotel, Support the vendors, tell your friends, teach the game, Buy a table..DO WHAT YOU CAN TO SUPPORT THE GAME!
This industry is so small and fragile. Do your Part and help the game!
