Thought for fun I would ask the Question how would you describe Perfect, or Most Desirable Cue Hit of a Pool Cue. As Hit is an Interesting Subject and everyone has their own ideas as to what HIT should be.

No matter how Pretty a Cue is if it don’t hit, it is nothing but FIRE WOOD KINDLING in my Opinion, as Pool Cue were made for Hitting Pool Balls.

Umm, hit... umm... okay, I'll try. When you hit long straight ones, the cue hits like a wreight train, but it's still easy to draw/follow the ball. Long punch strokes with speed would be easy to make, especially combined with slight follow draw (IMHO, one of the most difficult of shots: long hard almost straight in punch stroke with pinpoint position play needed with a slight follow or draw, almost impossible to control with a whippy cue).

When applying sidespin, the cue deflects a little bit and I can get adequate spin going just slightly off-center. Many cues lack the "spine" when shooting with a longer bridge or over a ball or jacked up, the perfect hit wouldn't have any loss of touch and feel in these circumstances. The sound on the impact would be delicate "plink", not "thud". My shooting arm would feel some vibrations, not too much, but some. The balance of the cue would make cueing action easy, the cue should be easy to deliver forward, but offering some weight for steady and straight cueing action. Too light cues make the stroke wobbly.
