So how many of you made the Deans List in school?
Great...congratulations but unfortunately, no one really gives a shit because the Deans List I'm referring to is exclusively about pool cues only.
In order to be consistent with the intent of this section of the Forum, I am posting the glued veneers on my Balabushka Tribute Cue Jerry Rauenzahn
has underway. The cue is in its infancy stage but has tremendous potential. Deanoc has pioneered different cue projects that many Azers have taken
advantage of but there's always a limited number of participants. And so you must get on "Deans List" to order one of these special pool cues.
Well, in school, I never made the Deans List. I came close but never made it, however, I've been on two Dean's Lists on the Forum. My first was for
ordering the inaugural Balabushka Tribute Cue by Evan Clarke and the second time is for Jerry Rauenzahn's Balabushka Tribute Cues project. During
my communications with Jerry, he used the term....."The Deans List" referring to the other Azers that have ordered cues as part of this project.
I know of seven Azers on Deans List which is the reference Jerry used.......I thought it was a great reference and a way of acknowledging Dean's efforts
with distinction. So if you own any cues from having been on one of Dean's lists, please post photos....if you have any progress photos from Jerry R.,
please also add those photos on this thread as well.
How many Dean's lists have there been....how many more will happen....when will it stop.......show us your cue photos from being on the Deans List. It's
too soon to start a new thread but towards year end, I'll start one just on the Jerry R. Balabushka Tribute cues being made.......let's have an unofficial
contest and vote of which cue from Jerry's "Dean List" of customers has the nicest design. In the meantime, if you've ever procured a cue from Dean as
part of one of his one of his several cue project endeavors, please post photos of your cue(s) for us to enjoy.
My intuition is the Jerry R. Balabushka Tribute Cue project will produce splendid cues & eventually, be viewed as the very best cue project undertaken by Dean.
