Different Games in Different Rooms

I just thought I would share what I saw yesterday in Atlanta at Mr Cues II when compared to the room I usually play in in Myrtle Beach, Smokehouse Billiards. At Smokehouse Billiards almost everyone is playing 9 ball all the time. I personally prefer to play 1 pocket or 14.1, and I have met a few people there who enjoy these games, but most want to play 9 ball. I am currently in Atlanta with my wife, and while she was at her conference, I made my way to Mr Cues II to practice some. Except for 1 table in my 5 hours there yesterday, every table was playing 1 pocket. There was even a group of guys playing partners 1 pocket. I found this interesting, and was wondering what game is most prevalent in other rooms?

Cues 2

Cues 2 has always been a pretty good action room. Most action rooms play a lot of one pocket. AND of course Cliff Joyner is the best one pocket player in Atlanta. Seeing Cliff play all of those hard games, 11 to 4 and so forth, really gets everybody playing One hole.
