Different Hits for Cues

I'm currently playing with a McDermott with a G-Core Shaft.

Although I've played off and on for a long time I don't have much experience with different cues.

How do the various hits differ say between Schon Joss Mezz and the McDermott?

I don't have any opportunity to actually try anything over here so I am relying on any feedback.

if you like a stiff hit, harder shaft and a ping sound as a feedback (than G-Core),play with Joss-even harder play with Schon.
Mezz is kind of between G-core and Joss(WD shaft)-the conical taper is better like Z shaft of predator(hard hit ,stiff but 11,75mm you must play more yo get used to it
keep in mind that the tip plays a big role to your personal feeling what you really feels good at your stroke
