Dear Az carom forum members,
We had an exciting event and while many people were able to access it without problems, I understand that the in-viewer pay-wall interface of the streaming service (daCast) was not uncomplicated - making it confusing for some of the subscribers to complete the transaction after their activation code was e-mailed to them. It required that you had to go back to THE CORRESPONDING PACKAGE WINDOW (be it FULL PKG, limited stream, or exhibition) to enter the appropriate code - many people returned to just any other window, only to be rejected.
Therefore, I understand your frustration if you were unable to access the live event in time. First of all, I will insure that no one who was not able to gain access gets cheated - the purpose of this venture was to share billiards, not rob people. I'm sorry to find out that anyone missed the stream, for whatever reason. I fielded dozens of phone calls at Carom Cafe all week long and got everyone working eventually. This was almost always the confusion.
I encourage everyone to PM me your feedback (positive or negative), phone # and e-mail address. If there was a problem with access, please be patient as I will investigate the issue with the streaming company and I will call back to discuss making you whole again.
I plan to make all of these videos available (24 straight-pool and 30+ carom matches and 3 exhibitions) on-demand with a special discount for az members.
I thank everyone for their patience and again, please know that I will address anyone that experienced difficulty accessing the stream last week.
