Digital Thermostat

I am changing my analog thermostat with a Favero digital thermostat that does not come with a resistor. The resistor is described as 1150 watt with 115Vac (art.65xB) power supply. Class 2 device. Does anyone know where I can get this resistor and is it essential to have? Any enlightenment will be appreciated. According to Favero this differs with the size of the table. I have a 9 ft. Soren Sogaard.

resistor

Shayne,
Thank you for replying to my question. The resistor is an additional item separate from the heating wire.

did you buy the thermostat overseas or local?
if you bought it local can you tell me where and how much?
Thanks

Price

I bought it overseas. I went through Soren Sogaard since I had done business with them previously. It was $136.00 and shipping was expensive. It totalled $202.00 for my location in Savannah. You can do a little better going through Favero. Traffic Control Billiards also sells it for around the same amount. That is in the USA.

Pete, I just looked at the wiring diagram. The resistor is the wire. I sent you a PM, call me if you want.
