Disassemble rails on a Diamond Pro

I am trying to remove one of the side rails on my Diamond professional table. I have all the bolts removed but it won't budge. It appears there is some lock mechanism for the side rails to the corner pockets? Based on the pic below am I right? If so, how do I unlock this so I can remove the side rail?

You neeed to turn the lil ball enough to loosen so you can take the sleeve(second part) off.

i have a special tool i made on the grinder out of an old screw driver. lefty loosey righty tighty. diamond FINALLY go rid of these after 30 + years! Was so happy to find that out last sunday!

Looks like a snap ring pliers with 90 degree tips would work, maybe??

Are they hardened steel? I have broken quite a few different things trying to find the right "tool" to work on these!!
