Discussion anyone?

I prefer something I nomed Declare. It's no count. You get an extension after the break if you intend to run out whereupon you must indicate your intention. A successful out is scored normally. If there is no out or you're just a pussy, you can proceed under standard rotation rules.
BUT...., game ball only counts for the next break; no score. Scoring is whatever you can handle.

Oh, incomplete runs proceed with or without the game ball, till the last ball drops.

How's the scoring work?

Straight tournament sets would be 1 point per out. There needs to be clarification as to what constitutes a legal starting point of an out but first declaration should be about right. This would include safety jockeying culminating in a run attempt.

You can of course pile on your own scoring, deuces and one eyed jacks wild etc... Speaking of scoring, one teaser for the chronic gamblers would be Hyper sets that include pay for games ahead and checkpoints - say every 10 on the scoreboard. You know jackpots at the big markers - 50, 100 or whatever... Broke's the limit! :D
