BOTH CUEMAKERS SEEM TO REALLY MAKE BEAUTIFUL CUES-
WHICH IS BEST PLAYING CUE????
NITTI or DIVENEY

probably one is not any better than the other and still probably not much better than a production cue. for the price would probably go with a good quality production cue. if you plan to put a CF shaft on it .... might as well just get a production cue with a nice butt design you like and pick out a CF you like ... in this case it probably dont matter about which is better ... with cues it matters most what hits the cue ball first

I've never used a Nitti, but I love Diveney cues. Very well constructed and a great balance to them.

c'mon man. You know that's like asking 'What's the best beer' or 'Who makes the best pizza'. all top makers cues play great. pick one you like and STAY WITH IT.

You'll never know which one you like better by asking other people. Find one or more of each and bang them around for a little bit.

For what it's worth, what I have found is that every Nitti I have ever hit has played very, very similarly to every other. I've found them to be extraordinarily consistent from one to the other. So if you try one and like it, if you subsequently buy another one you should have a very similar experience…

Switched to 60” Diveney cues 6 years ago and haven’t found a better playing cue since. Never owned a Nitti though.

I had a Diviney for a while; great playing cue but I have too many so I sold it. I haven't found a Nitti to hit a few with but I'm definitely looking. My favorite cue of all time was my Jacoby D-9. I called it the bulldozer but sold it in a moment of weakness. Tried to buy it back from the second owner but he won't part with it. I have a Joss east I really like and my Jacksons hit the ball well. I think Cohen makes a beautiful cue but I'm stick poor right now.

i have not hit with a diveney so i cant compare them
but i have owned several Nitti's and had chris (Nitti) make 3 for me
like @David in FL said
they all hit similarly and to me are solid playing cues with great feel

its a solid maple shaft
its fine

no magic hit on anything especially now that ive played with ivory ferrule and jointed cue
its all marketing nonsense
