Do tables retain smoke smell?

I'm looking for a gold crown and a lot of them have been in smokey bars. If you bring one of those home, is it going to smell like smoke forever? Does it go away? Is there a way to mitigate it?

yes it will smell if it was smoked saturated, a good cleaning with orange glo on the exterior pieces and disinfectant like lysol on the interior pieces will help. Best to do it outside when you get the table out of the vehicle before it comes in the house. A sunny day will help kill mildew as well when sprayed.
