How amazed I am at the response from players regarding Pool Players for Hire!
This whole idea really came together when we got our house sided and I didn't know that a pool player friend did that. I got five quotes from names out of the phone book or other ad publications. Just before I pulled the trigger, my friend called and asked why I didn't ask him to quote the job. I simply replied, "I didn't know you did siding."
I had known him for over 20 years from playing pool, but never knew what he did for a living. We always just talked about pool
Business is business though, and I wouldn't hire him until I checked other jobs he had done and his references. I knocked on doors and asked for an honest opinion about the siding jobs and the person that did it. All feedback was positive.
That $11,000 siding job ALMOST went to someone I didn't even know.
