Does anyone here play on the Central Coast of CA?

Hi guys and gals. I am pretty new to the forum and was hoping for some info about the local play in my area. I have lived here for almost 6 years but have not played much in the area. Prior to moving to the central coast (Nipomo, CA to be exact) I played fairly regularly at the Q Club in Oxnard and Prior to that at Black Tie in Camarillo when it was owned by Clarence. My playing partner during that time is an avid league player at the Q club and I just joined him for my first tournament at Butera's in Moorpark this past weekend.

Anyways, that was a random introduction, I am kind of bitten by the pool bug again and would like to find a League or tournament scene here on the central coast. I would love to find a BCA league but there does not appear to be anything in the area. Please correct me if I am wrong. My buddy who plays at the Q-club and another buddy who plays in Santa Monica would really like me to join them in Vegas for the big BCA match but it appears unlikely given the current scene in my area.

So I would very much appreciate any info on Central coast pool scene. Where do you guys play, or have played. What is the good the bad or the ugly.

Thanks for the reply. I would not mind going down to Santa Barbara on occasion for a tourney or something but for a weekly situation it is just too far. I do Love Don Q's though. it is a pretty nice pool room.

Anyone else?
 
We have a forum member that goes by the name, PistolPat, that lives in the Santa Maria area. He would know what's going on in your part of California. Unfortunately, I haven't seen him post for quite awhile.
