Does anyone play american pool with a snooker cue?

i have always wondered if people play 8 ball - 9 ball - 14.1 ect ( not snooker ) with a snooker cue........ are the tips and ferrules different

I don't know, but a lot of us play snooker with American pool cues.

you can play pool with a broom if you wanted, but snooker tips are so small they will continually mushroom, and long shots are much harder to control. I occasionally use a snooker cue to help me get back to center ball bc I go long periods abusing english, so the smaller margin of error helps. I bought one for 35 bucks and shhots great.
