Dominiak Blood Wood/Curly Maple

I was looking few years back at a Dominiak and I liked the idea of a laminated shaft with a uncapped ferule, kamui tip and not drilled inside, made in USA. I didn't buy it then, but I got one now

So there it is :
- Laminated butt 8 pieces blood wood/curly maple, phenolic joint, radial pin - 15 oz
- Dominator II shaft 8 pieces laminated, Kamui Soft tip, 5/8" melamine ferule, phenolic insert joint, 22 inch pro taper, 3.4 oz

The finish is amazing and it feels like silk.
This cue is different than any cue that I have played with.
At first I thought is too stiff but now I really love it. I can describe it as a solid, very true hit. Whatever you put in the shot, it delivers. The cue doesn't still any energy from the hit and it holds the cue ball on the path, even when I jack up the butt.
The draw shot is so incredibly easy. When I am in a slight angle I can still draw straight back, and that shot I only made it with a Z shaft.
Deflection is bigger that 314 2 but not very far. I would say similar to I2 shaft.
May sound funny, when I was playing in the national championship and I was playing the best pool, it felt like I am dominating the table. Some kind of fever of making balls and run tables
After some years I felt it again with this cue.

I have been thinking of one of these for a while now. I just might get one!

Well, it is very comfortable. The shaft feels the same when using pro bridge. With other shaft you can not hold it very tight, so when you start the pre-shots movements the bridge is kind of large. Long, easy follow trough
