Escott Cues
We always hear the arrow/indian thing. A nice arrow will help some, but the shooter is still the major factor. I love it when someone misses a shot and starts looking down the cue or roll it on the table.
I was practicing before a nine-ball tournament and a woman was standing nearby, so I offered to come play. Since I repair cues, I am always checking out people’s cues (discretely of course). She is playing with a Jack Daniel’s cue with a cracked ferrule and a cracked and mushroomed tip.
That didn’t matter she won most of our practice games and almost made it to the end of the tournament. She ended up giving me the cue to repair since it was about to give out soon. Half of the tip wasn't even connected to the ferrule.
Side note: I noticed the cue was not originally Jack Daniel’s. The paint was chipping, and it looks like it started out as a Silver Bullet cue (best guess). It’s like finding a Rembrandt under an old painting lol.
