Donations Needed Please!

Hello All,

I am looking for donations of new product for the Junior event at the Midwest Expo in October. I am in the process of trying to gather items to stick into "goodie Bags" for the kids. It does not need to be large items, although cue sticks and cases are appreciated for the winner and runners up.

Basically, I am looking for items as scuffers, chalk, books, or any billiard related merchandise suitable for kids under 18 and not of questionable nature. We need a total of 34 items of each, so that every child has the same.

Please contact me at windycityopen@aol.com if you are able to participate.

Thanks so much for your help!

Eydie, I'll talk to the guy who built my cues to see if I can get you a cue or maybe 2. Sam

Here's a suggestion for grab bags.
one each of the following.
Scuffer
Tip pick
leather burnisher
one bood, (Racking Secrets)
one hand towel (Midwest Billiard expo)
Make a deal, Get a total. First donation is on me.

Sam, Mike, and All who have contacted me VIA e-mail!

Thank you so much!

I like the idea of the contents of the grab bags. It is exactly what I am looking for. I don't know what these items will cost as a whole, maybe someone can give me an idea of this?

The expo is still young and it is hard to come up with the additional funds to supply the kids with this merchandise. This is why we are in need of sponsors to make this happen. I feel it is important to support the kids, this is probably one of the most important things we do for the future of the sport. The more information and support they get, the better etiquette and professionalism they will have.

I have contacted Tammie Jones who BTW has a company (Chameleon Designs, Muncie, IN) who does all types of printed material, i.e., shirts, mouse pads, pens, and more and asked her to print up the hand towels, good idea Mike!

If anyone has direct contact with the manufacture's and are able to secure any of the items listed by Mike, I would truly appreciate your efforts.

I am in contact with Joe. He know longer has racking secrets but offers a drill book. what quantity are we looking for. If you call Meullers and explain your position, I think you could get a better price than we could.

We need aprox 34. The field is for 32, but I would like to have a few extra copies in case of any problems. I have been in contact with Dannielle Mueller and thay are going to participate, but I don't know on what level.

As I mentioned, the expo is still young and until we grow more, I am looking for help with sponsorship. I don't know what the book cost, but I am assuming aroung $20.00, and that times 34 is $680.00 we don't have this year. So I appreciate anything that can be done to assist in this venue.

I agree with the kids being the future of billiards. Tammie Jones is a good person to go to. She is helping my wife and another lady run a youth league this summer for kids between 5-18 years of age. Tammie does a very quality job on all of her items that she produces and is alway willing to help out the sport.

Mr. Romano
Because of the nature and reasons you are doing this. I have no intentions of paying retail price for these items. This is my mission in helping and supporting your cause. For those who wish to charge retail for these items. They are part of the problem instead of compromising solutions.

Thank you Mike for all your help!
