I understand that Doug had stop making cue. But he do have cues in the market selling. Calling out to all Doug bourque out there, pls provide me with a review on how the cue plays. Is it stiff? What type of joint is doug's trademark? Any way to contAct him as I got some equiries. In terms of playability, what is a Doug bourque similar to? Eg. Sirca? Schon? In terms of resell value, where is the range? Is it consider a unique as Doug stop making cue?

Pls give me some reviews. Thanks alot.

Hello sir a moment of your time

I have spoken with Chris Bartrum and he played with a bourque. Douglas bourque - First Choice Billiards 925 Mainstreet E. Unit 2 On. Canada. I know of an ebony and Ivory from the 80's here. mark

i went to the First Choice Billiards website. it say db customs.. i did some googling and saw it is don broos custom.. is doug bourque there?

Doug Bourque is from N.W. Ohio. I do believe he no longer builds cues. contact Matt at rack attack billiards in Port Clinton Ohio. Doug plays in some tournaments there, from time to time. Matt knows how to reach him and also has a couple of his cues I think.

Thank You Sir.
It took 8 posts for someone to show enough respect for the man to put a capital 'B' at the beginning of Mr. Bourque's name. You do credit to our language.

my bad for not showing enough respect to Mr. Bourque's name. im trying to seek reviews about his cue.

I know Doug.

He has stopped making cues and rarely competes in tournaments.

The DB Custom cues in Canada is of no relation to Doug from NW Ohio.

Depending on the inquiry, I'm not sure he is open to general contact.

Sending a PM.

Are you looking for a nice Bourque cue to buy? I have a nice one
at a real good price. I posted it a couple of days ago but no reply.

doug bourque cues

sadly i am seeking some information on my cue as well, i purchased my bourgue about 2 yrs ago ( gently used ) and i simply love it, it shoots very smooth and considering its estimated at about 16 ounces i personally would say delicate :) i have been searching all over the net and ive yet to find one like mine or even close, i would like to find out its value and/or if mine is one of a kind in which would be extremely awesome i love having something that no one else has and in this case a majority has not even heard of doug bourgue i personally have been doing some light research and have found that he stopped making them in 1996 and just recently found out that there are only "30" left and that is how i ended up here. i have photos that i would like to share once i figure out how to put them on here, im pretty positive that i got myself one heck of a cue at one heck of a deal, i love it and was attached the first time using it, we bonded the first game

please no grammar police and i have respect for others and im sure that Mr Bourque is not going to cry over his name not being capitalized in a forum, im not being graded and if im not mistaken this is not an english class nor a place for judgement but im simply seeking information and considering im posting on a thread that was started 4 yrs ago i will be lucky to retrieve anything needed but i had to try so pleeeeeze I would really appreciate any information that i can get on my cue i have already found that Doug Bourque is somebody and that I love this cue and regardless of its value i will continue to use it and again I have photos of my cue and once ive gotten some kind of reply i will be sure and post them
