Downtown Chicago Poolhalls

Hello, been a while. I will be attending a conference in downtown Chicago September 11th to the 16th but sounds like the only free night I will have is September 11th. Was looking at fairly close pool halls and saw City Pool Hall and G-Cue Billiards. Also, The Game Room. Looking for any thoughts on them. I will be Ubering so not looking for a half hour car ride to the suburbs.

If you're anywhere near the airport go to Chris's. It's not too far east on Milwaukee Avenue.

I'll be downtown at McCormick Place West convention center. I have heard of Chris's but might cost an arm and a leg to uber there.

Ah, yeah. I didn't know how "downtown" you meant. That's a pretty decent hike from McCormick.

I agree Chris's is the place with the most character/history/etc. McCormick to Chris's by Lyft = about $50 one way.

The others mentioned are OK too. They're just not Chris's.
