Went to his show yesterday and it was great. That man is the Energizer Bunny. Non-Stop chatter and shots/lessons/jokes for 6 hours and 15 minutes.

Very friendly and outgoing with the fans an excellent entertainer. If you ever have a chance of seeing him perform it is worth your time.

So many little things that I learned during that time would have cost me hundreds of dollars with a private instructor.

He showed me something on a draw shot that sure did help me, makes sense, and now the ball flies back. And it is so simple. And what he said about proper stance/stroke and how to develop the proper straight stroke sure does work.

I picked up a video, signed cue ball, pin, picture, and he spent quite a bit of time talking and signing stuff for anyone who wanted it.

Tom has an amazing amount of knowledge and a tremendous love of pool and most of all a willingness to share with others. He can make learning fun, and when something is fun, it is so much easier to grasp. I met him several years ago and any time you see him he is always the same friendly person. A great entertainer, instructor, and role model for the pool world. If you get a chance you should definitely catch his show more than once. keep up the good work Tom.. Sam

Tom Rossman is a personal friend and a great guy. He introduced me to the Artistic Pool Tour a couple of years ago and has encouraged me the entire way, even when I was competing against him. His shows are second to none. I perform exhibitions myself. Everytime I get a chance to watch one of Tom's shows, I learn from it.

If you watched the Trick Shot Magic 2003, my semi-final match was against Charles Darling. I watched the quarter final match between Tom and Charlie and after that match was over, I had taken a bunch of notes. In my match against Charlie, I used 2 or 3 of Tom's shots against him (because he had trouble with them against Tom). If you ever get a chance to see this match, there is a shot of Tom in the stands laughing and that is because I did a lot of his shots that he used the previous day.

Also, Mike Massey just called me the other day to tell me that he put on of my shots in the latest edition of Inside Pool. It is the shot I did where the cue ball is balanced on four chalks and you shoot it from underneath with a masse stroke. The cue ball curves in the opposite direction than the english that you use. In the shot on ESPN, I hit it with right masse english and the cue ball curved to the left. That is because you are hitting it from below. Anyway, in the magazine, Mike called the shot "The Andy Segal Reverse Masse Shot". While I did make up the shot (at least I think I did), Tom Rossman was the person who first showed me the concept. It was at Hippos in Utica, NY at the North American Artistic Championships in 2002. I used that concept to develop the shot that I used in the tournament.

For anyone interested, Tom (along with myself and a bunch of other world trick shot champions) will be at Shooters in CT March 19-21 and at Valley Forge, PA on March 25-28.
