Which top female players can take ball in hand, shoot it in the foot corner pocket, draw straight back just below the side pocket (with low right or left) back down to the head rail, then off the long rail (total of 3 rails) and come back close to the center of the table??? I think for sure, Jeanette and Vivian could, any one else come to mind?? I think the snooker players would have a very difficult time. What do you think?? BF

Maybe your right, but what does it really mean? It's only one shot. Do you think that the "snooker players" are doing a few things right? People are talking about this youngster Ga Young Kim, man can she play. I had the pleasure of watching her play, she does so many things right. I think in time she is going to be the one everyone is gunning for. Glad to see Jeanette is on top of her game. Good young players coming up, incuding Sarah Rousey, to give the women at the top a run for the money. It's all good for the game.

i disagree, corr and fisher can do that in their sleep. it is not difficult to do, and both of these ladies can do it with no problem. remember, corr and fisher, play great position, so the need for them to do circus position is non existant.

Whether some can or can't, everyone can't hit the long drive like John Daly in golf or throw the 100mph fast ball like Randy Johnson, but it doesn't mean that they don't have game and can't win. You still have to play the game to match your strengths and weaknesses and winning, as well as consistently placing high to put yourself in a position to win is the bottom line, not one or two power shot capabilities. Junk ball pitchers win a lot of baseball games and so do short drivers on the PGA tour.

They can probably do it on super fast cloth. Just about any semi-decent player can.

i believe its the opposite, new cloth, it's easier to follow, thick cloth it's easier to draw.

Nope. On a worn/thick cloth the spin disappears faster. So making a draw with a lot of distance between the object ball and cueball requires harder stroke / more draw to get the job done. I belive many female pool players lack the extremely hard stroke with spin/accuracy. Pulling off table length draws on a brand new cloth with clean set of balls is ridiculously easy compared to worn cloth with dirty balls.

Now that I rethink the shot, I have a feeling most would just hit a very soft draw somewhere near the center of the table. That is the objective, isn't it?

I think every top female could do it no problem.

I can do it being only intermediate player on our slow table. I'm not terribly good, but like the draw shot very much.

Also, I can't imagine how snooker players with their super strokes could have a problem with such shot.
