While replacing a tip on a carbon fiber shaft I got a drop of super glue on the shaft, which I missed and it has now dried. Is there a preferred method for removing this dried glue without damaging the shaft?
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

I'm not a cuemaker but I did something similar. I used one of those kiridashi knives and was just damn careful scraping it off slowly. I have one of those diamond knife sharpeners with very fine "grit" on one side, more like a hone and I finished it with that. The knife sharpener is about 1" wide and perfectly flat.

I'm interested to hear the proper way from a cuemaker, but that worked for me. A real PITA that took very careful work to remove without getting into the shaft.

Seems pretty okay to me. Super glue is often used to fill dings.

If it isn't too close to the ferrule, acetone will remove super glue. It will also remove any sealer, but that should be easy to redo.

Acetone will work on raw carbon, but if the shaft has a coating on it you're not going to like the result at all. Not many do, just thought that should be pointed out.
