Dual Thread shaft

I have been having difficulties finding a new Predator Vantage shaft to fit a 3/8 10 pin. I was inquiring with a retailer and he has the Vantage shaft in Radial. He proposed to "double tap" the radial so that it would also fit the 3/8 by 10. I have some radial cues and it would be kind of handy to go between cues. My concern would be about how firm the connection would be after the double tap procedure. My second concern would be if it would be durable. What do you think?

The UNFORTUNATE reality is,
Yes. It's was done on occasion by LAZY people.
Yes, it will fit both screws.
It became more popular when C/F hit the market,
Especially Revo shafts, where it was said
ALTER IT, and goodbye warranty.
It may work for you, but it only takes ONE TIME to put it together quick and cross the threads. Then you have to have it repaired the correct way!
