Jim Pierce makes an excellent cue. His veneers are razer sharp and the playability is second to none IMO. There are a lot of excellent cuemakers out there and I have played with most of them. I would be hard pressed to describe exactly what it is about Jim's cue's that make them different. All I know is if you give the cue an hour, it will give you a lifetime of making balls! Whether its a plain jane or a pretty little four pointer, both will make you smile

Jon! Well said! It IS difficult to say, "Jim's cues do this", "Jim's cues feel this way", blah, blah, blah. It's just the matter of, as I've stated many times, "A PLAYER WHO MAKES PLAYERS FOR PLAYERS". Jim knows what a cue should feel like when hitting a cue ball.

I believe you and I had this very discussion months back, when you were curious about what you had heard about JIM PIERCE cues. Well, you took my word for it, tried one, and.....how many do you have now??

Just wanted to say thanks. Jim is a good, good friend who puts his heart and soul into his work. It shows from tip to butt. I have seen Jim get upset and ask for one of his customer's cues back so that he can re-do the cue, because HE sees a minute flaw that the new owner never would have noticed. He WANTS people to know that people are getting a piece of him in every cue.

I'm just curious about how many people own Jim Pierce cues, and how many play with them every day, as I do. My big problem is that I love all of my Pierce cues, and don't know which is my real favorite.

Thanks again, Jon.

You helped put me in contact with Jim almost two years ago because I wanted to buy some bowling alley shafts. Which I bought. I have since purchased two Pierce cues and still have them and couldnt be happier! Thanks for the heads up on some great playing cues!!!

Love that short brown bumper on the playing cue. A subtle accent that makes the whole thing pop ;). Jim's work is nice as it gets.
