I see threads on here once in a while about Dufferin Cues built in Canada. I found a local store that has 10 such cues..all around $20.00. Says made in Canada. Should i be buying these?? IS there something speacial about the Dufferin cues made in Canada? Just wondering.

they're good for the price. i own 2 dufferin cues one is a sneaky pete. get em while they last since they don't make them anymore. it's now been renamed as F.G. Bradleys http://www.fgbradleys.com/
Sounds like an OK price if they are house cues. If they are sneaky petes, that's a good price. Years ago I searched through a rack of 30 or so, and there were some I would not buy, but most were good. Of course I tried to get the exceptional one .... the jury is still out.
BTW, mine is a 21oz beast, 13mm tip, stiff as a pole (no fancy taper on these cues) and breaks well, which is how I use it.

Dufferin in Canada ceased production last year.
Dufferin cues are now made in China.

I've 2 dufferin 2 pc cues I paid 70 bucks each for. For the money they are fantastic cues. I guess if they are 1 piece house cues the price is right. If they're 2 piece sneakys the price is good. However, even at a good price it's not as if they're a great investment, IMO.
