The most Desired Dufferin and the most converted. This one from my collection is just about as mint as they come. Full bright finish, strong Dufferin logo and weight stamp, strong " Made in Canada" bumper marker. RARE- almost unused cue -- Full Splice FOUR Symetric Ebony points into BEM, Strong ebony handle and butt sleeve area- strong butterfly splice completion with clear Silver leaf window. I obtained this beauty directly from a Canadian- a closet queen cue for sure!
The original Dufferin proprietary 5/16 14 joint screw has been replaced with a universal 5/16 14 joint screw so that any 5/16 14 shaft can be paired with this cue. The original shaft is included, fits the new joint screw, so that this shaft seats clean and firm. The original Dufferin 14 joint screws have a wide unthreaded shoulder that prevented universal 5/16 14 shafts from fitting the cue. The butt rolls straight and the original shaft has just a very slight taper roll.
The cue butt is 29 inches excluding bumper, the original shaft is 28 inches. The cue butt weighs 15.7ounces, the shaft weighs 3.5 ounces and is 12.5MM at the ferrule area. Weight stamp on cue is 19 ounces. This cue could be further converted along the butt area--- if one desired ---with inlays and added butt sleeve and joint rings if one desired- would not need a refinish as the finish is almost mint on this cue.
