All I did was have a Multi Layed Tip put on, and it Hits good... ;)

Good choice! I started with a Dufferin Shadow before moving to my Falcon.

Any idea what model that one is?

Just be aware that Dufferins usually have a 12.5MM tip as opposed to the 13MM tip, so if she eventually moves to a different cue, she may not be used to the larger tip.

That's no lie! I had a dufferin as my first cue and the tip was somewhere around 12mm. Back then I pretty much only played bar pool and didn't know anything anyway, but it was a good cue for learning.

The Tip is 12.64mm, and the Model is Silverado it was made for a chain of Billiards Store in Arizona by Differin...

And how! I started with a Dufferin too! It was probably my favorite cue to have had. The sneaky pete was suggested by a friend of mine who has one. I think mine was 12.5 too, but my buddy's is like snooker style!

Looks like we've got Dufferin fans in the house. Personally, I think they're a wonderful cue to start out with. Relatively inexpensive and they play very well. I still have my Dufferin Shadow and a Phantom sneaky pete as well. Thinking of selling the SP, tho.

It seems tough to find some of the more expensive models that are on their website, IE the "Grenadier" cue.

Anyone know what happened to their website? The new site was up for a while and then it just disappeared.

Lol i started out with the shadow too then moved to Falcon. Their website seems to be down, they changed their name to F.G. Bradley or something like that now.
