There are a few players in my area(central IL) that play with j. durbin cues. I havent been able to find out much about this cue maker. The cues are older but still play great, I also like the simplicity of them. Any info or insight would be appreciated. Pics of cues would be cool too.

j. michael durbin at durbin custom cues can be reached by phone at (217) 728-8912 or by email at jmdurbin@one-eleven.net and his address is RR#2 Box 145, Sullivan, IL 61951. he makes a great cue and sponsored jamie baraks. i have owned a couple of his cues and they play great. this one was one of jamie baraks playing cues, tulipwood forearm, purpleheart points with some stunning veneers, an ivory joint, and a purpleheart and tulipwood butt.
i also had a snakewood forearm cue with lacewood points that was unbelievable. they are both great playing cues.

Mike makes good cues. I was shooting with his cues before I started making them myself. I have had several of his older cues and they all shot great. That is the hit I shoot for in my cues.
His newer cues have changed some. He uses G10 epoxt pins in most of his cues now, after he started making the Advanced Accuracy Cues for Mark Wilson.
