Anyone ever dye a worn cloth on the table, same as the original color, just to make it look a little newer and fresher? I do a lot of masse practicing and I have a lot of burn marks all over, but the cloth is still in excellent shape physically, its just that I'd like to cover the marks.
I know how I would like to approach this. I'd get a permanent dye solution to match the current color, dark green, then dip in a microfiber cloth and wring it out well, and then wipe the table cloth down with it using smooth even strokes. I'd let it dry after each treatment so that I would be adding a small amount of dye each time. Just like in spray painting, it would be bad and less controllable to try to add all the color in one coat.
