macguy said:I don't think you could the resin would resist staining. You also have to buy from someone who is manufacturing it for it's looks. It's an industrial material and in general doesn't look that good sometimes. I bought some from a local supplier and when I cut it down it changed color almost every pass of the cutter the color was not consistent. You have to buy the right stuff from the right people or you can mess up hours of work trying to save a few bucks.

cueman said:Forget Dying it. If you want it another color wait until the cue is ready for finish and use a permanent marker to color the surface. Then put a light seal coat of finish on before using a flow out coat to stop color bleeding.
