Earl is usually titled as the six time world champion. I know he has won 3 WPA 9-ball world championships: -90, -91 and 2002. Can someone tell me the other 3 ?

And hey, I'm not questioning Earl's achievements here. I'm just curious. Well... to be honest, I've heard that some players call themselves world champions after some local tournaments. But, I have to say, that for instance 14.1 US Open tournaments are a sort of world championships despite being called US Open's.

That's the impression I've got, that Earl's other three titles were from pre WPA era, before 1990. But can someone confirm the years and perhaps some more detailed information about participants etc. Some archive gurus needed here...

if you have a BCA rule book i believe in the back there is an archive section. it shows world titles pretty far back i believe. i don't have mine with me right now, so i could be wrong.

Earl also won back to back world titles in 1990 & 1991 along with Robin Bell who also won back to back in 90 & 91 (I have 1991 espn world campionship on tape). I believe in 1990 he beat Jeff Carter in the finals and in 1991 he beat Nick Varner.
