I had a local player stop by with a couple of early Tice cues made for him by David many years ago. The owner is trying to decide if he wants to have them refinished or, what?
The six pointer has what we believe to be mahogany points into a figured maple forearm; buttsleeve has a couple pieces of Pau Ferro; accent ringwork at A, B, C and D; David tells me the wrap is a lace material that used to be used in Boeing airplanes.
The jump break is one of only two that I've ever seen; it's made of purple heart. A couple of really cool older Tice cues
