There was a Question & Answer in the Q & A section of the auction...

"Q: The workmanship of this cue is remarkable, this is definitly a Palmer 1st Catelogue Special order which was rare in those days already. The hit and the detail is exactly like a Bushka. The condition is almost mint which is remarkable for a cue of this age and not refinished. I would keep this cue if I were you. Thanks for making the trouble to show me. A: Thank you for your kind comments, I can't sell it off Ebay because I'm selling on behalf of a friend which is also my client. And I totally agree with you, that the workmaship and hit of this cue is indeed Bushka level. In fact Bushka had an exact design like that which sells for more than $10,000."

I would like everyone to know that I DID NOT participate in what appears to be an attempt to gain credibility using my name. Then the seller comes with the bull shit about the Bushka being worth more than $10,000 in an attempt to pump up the price of the Palmer. I would be very cautious of this seller or anyone associated with him/her. The auction shows the bidding has ended and someone paid $1300- or so for the cue. Brutal!
Can someone report this to ebay for me?
I do not have time to pursue complaining to ebay since I am too busy rebuilding my shop after moving to Hollywood, FL two weeks ago, and then got sacked by Hurrican Katrina?
