Ed Flemming... Lawyer?

So I posted these on FB and had a response from someone that worked with him. Said he had made cues in the lates 80's into the mid 90's. Never heard of him, no other collaboration.

I did not know Ed was a lawyer. I thought he did sales and accounting or something like that before going full time as a cue repairman. He was one of the better known cue repairman around Atlanta in the late 80s and early 90s. Then he started having health problems and died suddenly. He was a very nice guy and really loved pool. He would linen wrap cues without a lathe by hand while sitting and watching tv. He had several pool rooms on a route that he would stop by in the evenings and pick up their customers cue work and come back and deliver the repaired cues the next evening. He did not build many cues so those would be fairly rare.

Someone on FB, claimed Ed taught him and he was a lawyer. So that is the initial information I had received. There is an Ed Flemming lawyer, in either south Georgia or Florida. I was hoping maybe his son or something. But thanks for the info.
