May not work for you, but it works for us. Table time is $3/person/hour. Whenever someone uses over $10 in time between 12 and 6 or between 6 and 12, we give them a card with their name and date on the back. We explain that they only need 4 more specials in the next 2 weeks to get a free session. 5 specials in 2 weeks=free session.
We always ran specials with moderate success but now we use them to promote. Weasle types really think they are taking us off. I'll give a free session any time when someone spends $50 in 2 weeks.
Golf game goes daily with 6 to 10 players 5 days a week, 90% are on special.
We will have to review in the winter, but until all tables are going all the time, we will try to continue.
