I do not have first hand knowledge, but I believe Ken Schuman said during the TAR ppv this weekend that Efren had a prior engagement in Asia and would not be at the US Open events (10 ball/one pocket) this year.

The bookies, looking for some action on this match, insisted that Efren
has to wear hand-cuffs and leg-irons.
