A few years ago I bought a second hand "elite" cue stick, hits good, feels good, but I can't find any reference anywhere to an "elite" cue stick manufactorer. Has anyone every heard of the company before?

Thanks but no

I saw those on the net, and i was thinking that maybe those were the same but mine has the word elite inscribed on the end of the butt, while those have action inscribed. So far the only reference I could find was to a company based in Omaha, NE and the page contained only was seemed like a picture from a print ad, but thanks anyway....

I found those searching for Meucci cause I thought Meucci made a series of Elite.............but not sure. And had Elite on the butt cap.

Elite Custom Cues out of Lincoln Nebraska. Dick Coons started Elite Custom Cues in 1989 while running a pool room with his wife. They are identifiable by the "Elite" logo on the butt cap, and will not have any ivory and most likely a Uni-Loc joint. Email me a photo and I might be able to get an idea of its value for you. www.zimsrack.com
Thanks and hope you like the Elit cue!

Any luck with identifying the "Elite" cue? Hopefully the info I passed on was helpful. Let me know what you find out!

elite cue

Hey Zim,

thanks for the information, from the way you describe it, I am sure my cue was made by elite custom cues...If I had a digital I would send you a picture, sorry. As far as cues go it works for me but am thinking about getting a predator shaft fitted to it. Like I said I bought it second-hand for a price of 275, thinking I got a good price not sure, when my friend and I asked the seller why he was selling a cue he bought for 500 for 275, he told us to try and hit with it. When we did hit with it sounded as if it were cracked somewhere, but the hit was solid, and thumping the tip on the table did not produce any noise so I figured I could live with it until I found something I really liked. Well, one day I was palying and noticed that the screw that held the rubber cap to the butt had come loose, after tightening the screw the sound went away, and have been happy with it ever since. Do you know anything else about Elite Cues, have they gone out of business? I assume so since I could not find any other reference on the net...thanks Zim

Spammusubi- Can you describe it to me? Does it have points in the forearm, how many, what's on the butt cap, the joint pin size, and what kind of handle (wood/wrap)? Let me know this and I'll get a better idea of value (estimate, need photo to be more exact). I would say you got a nice cue for $275.
