I called Shane of Elite custom looking for Break cue he only had one left in stock.
When i got It came with a Purpleheart shaft 3/8/11 pin ,
The butt was Purpleheart and Olivewood handle ,cue is 23.5 oz ,
I thought it was going to be to heavy for me ,But man this cue "CRUSHED" the rack.
The cue is very well balanced.( didn't feel like it was 23.5 .)
I broke 10 racks of 9 ball made 3 to 4 balls easy,
10 racks of 10 ball made 5 balls and stopped the cueball in the center of the table 50% of the time .
Broke, 5 racks of 8ball made 4 to 5 balls on the break and got shape .
I let about 6 other people try out his break cue and everyone really like the feel and the way the cue broke open the rack , ( very good cb cantrol).
Elite custom cue comes with the purpleheart shaft.
The tip is brown phenolic , shaft 13.mm then get fatter after 6 inches .
The finsh is great on this cue ,
I found out that "Shane" did body repair on custom cars so you know the finish is going to be first class.
