Established N. Maryland pool room considering offers for sale

One of the owners of Hagerstown Billiards & Cafe has asked me to post this on his behalf. They are considering offers to sell the business which does NOT include real estate. This is an old school pool room in a huge building which is in Hagerstown's highest traffic area and only seconds off of I-70 and approx 10 from I-81. The room opened in 1998 and has a thriving business with even more potential. The room has established leagues and is currently a host for Tiger Planet Pool which draws huge crowds. The room has also hosted the New England Womens Tour (NEWT) and the former Tim Scruggs 9-ball Tour. We have had several exhibitions by top stars like Nick Varner & Mike Massey. This room has 18 Gold Crown 3 tables in great condition as well as 5 bar boxes. The gold crowns are outfitted with Simonas cloth and Centenial Balls. This room has a full service Cafe with extensive menu and beer service (4 or 5 drafts and a large assortment of bottled beers). Note: I'm not sure about the transfer of the beer license so that would have to be discussed with the owner(s). The room also has a nice pro-shop area with basic cur repair set-up ie.. lathe etc.. Hi email me private... What does your seller want for the 18 Gold Crowns? I'm not interested in the business it's self but would be interested in the 18 Gold Crowns if the price is right?? Thanks

I have visited this room a number of times to watch tournaments.
It is a nice room, but as most rooms, it could use some improvements.

Since it is a successful business and a nice room, I am curious as to why the owner is selling the business. Can you tell us?

Since the real estate is not included, I'm guessing that the building owner may have increased the rent to an unreasonable level. But that is just my guess. This would certainly stop me from considering the purchase.
