European Straight Pool video?

Hi,

I love the Accu-Stats tapes and owns dozens of them. I think the 2000 US Open 14.1 tapes are excellent and I have all of them. The video quality is good as are the camera angles and commentary. I think they do an excellent job.

Here is my problem. The last straight pool matches they have are from 2000. I know that they still have pretty prominent 14.1 tournaments in Europe. Anyone know if there are any videos/DVD's available of these matches? I have emailed Thorsten Hohmann to see if he can help but thought I would ask here to see if anyone here can help.

So? Anyone know any websites for a European version of accu-stats? I am in need of a "fix" of some new straight pool videos. I have watched the matches that I have dozens of times. Need some new fresh straight pool !!!!

I'm afraid all the major straight pool tournament we've had have been in the annual European Championships, with the exception of a tournament held in Weert a year ago, but the entries were limited to 8. As far as I know, whole matches haven't been taped. They showed a 1 hour program of Tampere 2002 EC of straight pool here in Finnish television which had clips of matches, but no runs over 40-50 were shown.

The lack of major 14.1 tournaments here in Europe is a shame !
