Ever tried a "Stinger" jump cue?

I'm interested in the Stinger Jump/Break cues.

Have you tried one? How does it compare to other jump cues you may have used? How close to an intervening object ball can you jump EASILY, and how accurate is it? What kind of tip do you use on it?

Yes

Far superior.

How close to an intervening object ball can you jump EASILY,
Comfortably about a balls width away, but have jumped as close as an inch away from a blocker.

and how accurate is it?
Extremely

What kind of tip do you use on it?
Comes from the maker with a phenolic tip, seperate ferrule. I don't know what ferrule material is used... or the phenolic material for that matter... saying "phenolic" is like saying "plastic". There are a multitude of different types of phenolics. I don't know what Jerico uses.

Best thing to do is find someone who has one that you can try out. If you're close enough to a large tourney, I think Tom Simpson sets up at shows with them... if you're worried about who uses them, well, Mike Massey and Kid Delicious are the first two that come to mind among the pro players, but there are several on here that use one. If you're anywhere near Eastern Oklahoma, you're welcome to hit a few balls with mine.

Thanks for the answers... I've asked around, here in Chicago, lonnnnnng way from Oklahoma unfortunately... and haven't found anybody who has used one.

Is yours a jump/break cue, or a jump cue?
