I'm at wits end with my game and it's in my mind constantly. My break (9-ball) is pretty decent, banks are good, make difficult shots then lackluster kicks in on so-called easy shots. I think I've got it figured out trying gummies to relax me and it's showing results. The gummies I've tried are low in THC and I noticed I'm more relaxed ( less body aches) and I can dull my mind and feel like I'm in the zone. This morning ( last gummy was Friday) I got on the table and everything was going in the pocket. Is it a fix ? Maybe but time will tell.

Yogi Berra gives such great uh mental analysis. Yogi izums are my fall back.
My best mind set going into competition is uh? Die with Honor? Kinda mind set.
My favorite uh reading on the topic is.

Sounds like you are on the right track. I assume that you have changed chaos five times, spent a bunch of money buying the best performing cue technology, tried several different gloves, and perfected a sixteen step psr.

Once you've done that, drugs are the only way to improve.

Seriously, tho, I'm guessing that you would benefit from some changes to your game. Just the fact that your first comment is about how you bank means you likely need to develop your game.

In my experience the chemical enhanced had a couple of huge downside. The judgements were impaired and of course life expectancy goes way down.

Light physical wam up before practice.
Play every shot in practice like it's game 7 of the world series.
Quit and take a break when you lose your focus
Build it up over time.
Drugs are a fun reprieve but a poor long term solution.
Just my 2¢

I've been using the same break and playing cue for 40 years. I bought a cheap Chinese CF cue to try out but stick to the 11.5mm wood shaft. As far as developing any more at 73 it's not gonna happen and trying to find a litte of my youth play is what I'm after.

The gummies have helped somewhat with my back and left knee that pained big time going down the stairs. I took one last 2 Fridays and that's it sofar.

Mobility exercises aren't the most fun but they could help if you do them before practice.
Just gets things loose.

If you're just trying to find the Greek man of your youth.. I say double the dose and crank up some Jimi😁

Read the Inner Game of Tennis by Tim Galloway. It will help.
