It doesn't matter what method you use for aiming if your eyes are all over the place. For each shot you attempt, there is a relationship between you, the CB, OB and pocket. This is what you "read" while walking around the table during your preshot routine. Quiet your eyes and focus only on the CB to OB, then OB to pocket. This can also be done in reverse order as long as you stay focused on their "relationship". Below are videos of a golf teacher explaing how to "quiet" your eyes to help your brain focus on the shot. If you look only at the targets, this allows your brain to put the line of the targets together and your body will react according to the signals your brain is receiving.
I recommend you "retrain" your eyes to be "quiet" by setting up close, straight in shots and gradually increasing the distance/angle.
