Cue: A new Schon STL3 model. Never hit.

Shafts: (1) standard 29" and (2) at 31" in length.

Shafts appear to be chalked but this came from being store in the case.

His buddy's cue come's with 3 shafts total.......

Still a touch on the higher side of retail, but some consider the longer shafts a bonus, too...so maybe that's where he's coming from.

Just a guess....but looks like he's going off of RETAIL value of the new cue, plus two extra shafts.

an extra shaft is about $125 so it's still over about $100 in retail if you add everything up. plus he said the shaft has chalk on it already?

Yep......

Not disagreeing with you that the tag may be a little high....but there are alot of Schon fans out there who would be thrilled to get a new one with three shafts as one package...instead of bit-and-piecing it together, paying for shipping 2 or 3 different times. The chalk, according to his friend, was residual from a case...and not from play.

He said his buddy would be open to offers, too. Not a bad jumping point, to start off with......

I just spoke to my friend about the below questions / facts. He did tell me that he paid a little more then the $125.00 for the extra shafts. Maybe because of the length? I'm not sure, forgot to ask.

But as mentioned he will entertain serious offers.
